Sali d’Argento is an open space for discussions, permanent training and project building and sharing on photography, that is continuously implemented within the framework of courses, workshops, exhibitions, editorials, events and artists’ residencies, offering participants the opportunity to immerse themselves, for several days, in a community experience focused first on traditional chemical photographic process and on documentary photography, but widely open to other instances of photography and visual arts.
In this context, the participants will deal with professional photographers and teachers throughout the year, to learn the techniques, languages and forms of expression related to photography and its fruition, from single printed image to the shape of portfolio, even as artist’s books, through integrated training programmes.
This blog will be a sort of scrapbook of Sali d’Argento stories, with the aim to suggest new paths to read the world around us through the photographic image.
